A refined pair of Empire gilt-bronze urns, each featuring winged sphinxes, plaques illustrating scenes from La Fontaine’s Fables, and classical friezes with ovoid and palmette motifs.
Each is mounted on a square base and veined green marble plinth, adorned with female masks and heart-patterned friezes.
